Paris is the French capital and one of the major European cities.
Why You Should Visit Paris
Indeed, this is a modern city that has managed to keep its traditional style and the sense of history. It is dazzling but it’s also a bustling and a huge city. This is one of my favorite cities in Europe.
The city is packed with history; from cathedrals, grand boulevards galleries, the theaters, and ancient medieval streets.
It is a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture.
Paris is also known as the City of Love. No wonder, it’s adored by honeymooners and lovers, thus it’s a well deserved reputation.
In addition, the French language is known as the language of love. It would be great to freshen up your French just a little bit to enjoy this romantic city.
What to Expect From Paris
Paris has numerous iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, Moulin Rouge, just to mention but a few.
A large part of the city, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Also dubbed as the Capital of Fashion, it is the home to the world’s finest and most luxurious fashion designers and cosmetics, such as Chanel, Dior, Laurent, Guerlain, Lancôme, L’Oréal, and Clarins.
Paris has remained vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Last but not least, French culture is as outstanding and interesting as the language, and theater, film and music are also significant components.
To begin exploring, we took a boat tour along the Seine River. This helped us to understand the layout of the city.
There are boutiques and vintage stores that sell all kinds of creations to give that element of French to your wardrobe
No trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the Palais Garnier. This is for its grand performances of ballet, symphony and opera.
Finally, do not forget to get the secrets of the French wine at a wine tasting experience. I hope that you add Paris into your bucket list!
