When people ask me about my best travel experience so far, it’s always tough for me to pinpoint my absolute best because they are mostly all great for a variety of reasons and at different levels. Some moments that I have experienced while travelling ended up completely blowing me away, in way that I never expected. Years later, I still smile at the fond memories.
I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of having a bucket list and after graduating from University, I decided to fix a physical list. I have a really good time keeping up with my bucket list and I tend to refer to it on frequent basis. This has forced me to try new things and discover new places and I have also realized that this is how I want to live my whole life. I started this blog with hopes to share my experiences and with an aim to inspire others to go out and chase their own bucket list. I made a commitment to tell of my adventures and today I’m going to tell of my most memorable holiday so far. You think that you’re too busy to get away from your busy schedule? You might be surprised to find that going on vacation whether a weekend getaway or some weeks long break is actually good for your health. I hope that this inspires you to explore a new place this weekend or next Summer.
My husband and I spent 2 weeks in the Islands of Rhodes for a holiday and it was an amazing experience. Since it solidified that travel had to be part of our lives, it’s definitely one of my top experiences. The bustling landscape, natural beauty, rich history, vast sandy beaches, emerald waters, ancient civilisations, gourmet restaurants and traditional tavernas serving local delicacies among many others, make Rhodes my best holiday destinations so far.
