Top Experience in Chania, Crete Island

Chania is one of the most picturesque cities in Crete Island.

Indeed, this city has numerous options for sightseeing, exploration, and adventure. The following are the top things to do while visiting the city of Chania:

This harbor was built by the Venetians during the colonization of Crete. It was one of the most important harbors of the Mediterranean sea.

✦ 2. Al Hammam Authentic Turkish Baths

Chania, Greece

The Hammams (public baths) were brought to Chania by the Ottomans of Asia Minor. These public baths played an important role in middle eastern culture.

The public baths served as places of body cleaning and social gathering.

✦ 3. Walk to the Venetian Lighthouse

After familiarizing ourselves with the city of Chania, we were searching for an interesting way to get around the city.

We settled for a horse-drawn carriage tour around the sights. Certainly, this is an attraction that everyone can enjoy while at the same time visit this city in style!

This is a relaxing route through the pedestrian streets of the Old town. We were able to see more historical buildings, monuments, old shipyard, the Venetian walls, shopping streets and other places worth seeing throughout the city.

This is one of my favorite cities in Greece.
